JAZZ DIKAS FESTIVAL is on December 24 from 11am at Red Onion in Soshanguve, Tshwane. Featured are Norman Chauke, mainline Ngobeni, badimo Jazz Band and DJ Mafodi. Admission is 60.

DIVAS IN DRAG show is on every Thursday from 8pm at Carnival City’s Showbar in Brakpan, Ekurhuleni. Four Diva’s are said to hold the audience spellbound with their karaoke performance while two professional male dancers provide eye candy in this show that is promoted as offering 70-minutes of pure escapism. EBUBELENI Arts Festival is scheduled for December 29 at Heatherbank Sports Club, Walmer, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. It boasts line-up including the Parlotones, Stimela, Zonke, Theo Kgosinkwe, Toya Delazy, AKA, MiCasa and five bands from Port Elizabeth (P.E.) The show starts at 2pm. THE MAHOGANY ROOM, 79 Buitenkant Street, Cape Town host The Kyle Sheperd Quartet on December 21 and 22. There are two shows, one starting at 8.30pm and the second at 10.30pm. KAT & THE KINGS is two-act production is at The Fugard Theatre in Cape Town. The musical is set In Cape Town’s District Six in the late 1950s and explores the journey of teenager Kat Diamond and the a cappella group he forms, The Cavalla Kings. Tickets range from R90 to R160 at Computicket.

MICHAEL JACKSON HIStory ll is a musical biography of Michael Jackson’s life starring Kenny Wizz, a well-known Michael Jackson impersonator from Las Vegas, with a live band, fully choreographed dancers and authentic costumes.
